POTATO WEDGES

Since potato belongs to a root and tuber category it's high in starch hence high in carbohydrates.But potatoes are also great source of potassium, Vitamin B6 and Vitamin C, iron as well as protein

Then why are they called bad??Because potatoes are starch rich, they contribute to increased carbs when eaten along with cereals.And of course, any food is considered good or bad by the way they are consumed, no food is bad:) and there is no food that makes one "FAT"

Hence, Eating in proportion, managing the combination of foods and the way they are cooked is the "hack" to eat everything yet not gain weight:)Enjoy your potato wedges (without frying of course)

Here is my recipe of guilt free potato wedges:
1. Clean the potatoes well, cut them into wedges

2. In a bowl add little oil, salt, oregano, chilli flakes or powder and mix well

3. Add the cut potatoes and mix to coat the masala to the potatoes

4. Pre heat the air fryer for 3-5min at 200 degree C

5. Air fry the potato mix for 10 min

Thats it ! yummy and healthy potato wedges is ready to eat. You may consider having 6-8 small wedges as an evening snack or add some paneer tikka and salad along with the wedges to make it a dinner plate.
